Last years Indiana Legislature took action to change road funding formulas which resulted in Owen County anticipating an additional $485,000 in revenue for 2014. Tonight, the Owen County Commissioners and Highway Superintendent have presented their first group of road resurfacing projects for the release of part of this money by the Owen County Council. A total of $250,000 is a high estimate and has been appropriated for the following projects to occur in the next 90 days: Mitten Rd - Marion Township - 2 Miles Chip & Seal White Hill Rd - Morgan Township - 500 Feet Asphalt Beamer Station Rd - Morgan Township - 2 Miles Chip & Seal N Jones Rd - Harrison Township - 2 Miles Chip & Seal E Coonpath Rd - Washington Township - 4,224 Feet Asphalt Stogsdill Rd - Clay Township - 2.5 Miles Chip & Seal #OCINGov #IndianaCounties
