Late report from last night... Not quite the new core team - there were actually 3 of us! Hint, hint - any local fancy joining us? Almost exclusively working on 134 until just before next Easter... We carried on with work from the weekend working party - all the LHS lube lines were rubbed down with wire brushes and the adjacent frame plates with brushes and emery cloth. The pipes had a coat of metal primer and next week, the pipes and LHS will get a top coat of black gloss. Meanwhile, your scribe FINALLY got some of the flanges welded onto the vacuum brake train pipe spools. Hopefully will finish all of them next week, then the trainpipe can finally be clipped down into place front to rear. All in all, quite a busy evening.
