Lately, it seems the little things of life are getting under my skin. Nothing big. Nothing earth shattering. But little things. Things like when a child forgets to turn paperwork in to sign-up for raising funds towards his upcoming school trip. Things like standing in line at the DMV for license tag renewal only to find out that your Hubbys name is listed as sole owner on one vehicle; not joint ownership. Meaning, you cant pay for it; he has to come down and do it unless you have a Power of Attorney. (I didnt) So youve just wasted 45 min. on a day you didnt have it to waste. Of course. I think this is what Francesca Battistellis songs, This is the stuff, is talking about. These are the kind of things that are getting my blood boiling! But these are also the kind of things God can use to shape my character to be more Christ-like. Well, Hes certainly been offering me lots of opportunities to grow this week! Cant say Im liking it. But I am surrendering it. Im praying. Im singing praises. Im repeating His truths of scripture over & over. And Im asking God to help me figure out the deeper meaning of why theyre getting to me.
