Lately we have been working a lot on rider position, as I have the tendency to want to straighten my elbows which makes them stiff, not good! To fix this bad habit I have started to begin my rides with my pinkies holding on to a string that Ive tied to either side of the saddle pommel, putting my hands and elbows in the correct position, elbows bent with hands a few inches above the front of the saddle What a difference this has made!! With soft elbows Tai is able to move more freely and even our transitions are much smoother. Hopefully after a few more rides muscle memory will begin to kick in and soon my natural position will be bent, soft elbows, and no more rider stiffness!
