Lately, weve been talking a lot about Dottie and her mission to get healthy. But we have another dog in our care that deserves to get some recognition! His name is Doogie! Doogie is a 3 year old Labradoodle that is a beautiful silver color. He came into our care around September and we noticed he was overweight and seemed to walk a bit funny. After having x-rays done, we discovered that Doogie had double hip dysplasia. So we concentrated on getting some weight off Doogie first, knowing it would greatly help him once he had surgery. Fast forward about one month. Doogie lost some weight and had double hip dysplasia surgery. Some fantastic foster parents took care of Doogie after his surgery (if youve helped a dog heal from this, you know how much care is required! Big shout out to them!) and now he is well on his way to running without pain and loving life! We think handsome Doogie deserves some attention because of everything he has fought through. And once his coat grows back completely, he is going to be a stunning boy! Do you agree? Doogie is not quite ready for adoption yet but hes getting there!
