Job Title: Grade Control Geologist Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Job Description * Ensure employee Health and safety through compliance with all safety and mine regulations, as well as company policies and regulations * Analyze and interpret geological data, using computer software; * Plan or conduct geological field studies or surveys, sample collection, drilling and testing programs to collect data for analysis or application * Prepare geological maps, cross-sectional diagrams, charts, or reports * Liaise with mine planning to ensure efficient ore extraction * Supervise all grade control activities on the mine * Ensure the correct application of procedures and protocol to produce Grade Control models * Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time * by supervisor Qualification and Requirements * A degree in Geosciences or related field with knowledge of geological principles * Minimum of four (4) years post qualification work experience in the Mining Industry * Good Computer Skills in related packages * A sound understanding of geostatistical principles * A strong understanding of structural geology * Leadership experience and a strong desire to coach and develop others * Well-developed oral and written communication skills * Ability to work under pressure with little supervision Visit jobberman.gh/job/50757/grade-control-geologist-in-greater-accra-region/ to apply jbgh.me/87K76n Share with friends!
