Et la paix que je vous donne n’est pas comme celle que le monde donne. Ne soyez donc guère troublés, ni effrayés. » Jean 14: 27 (NL) La paix est la caractéristique de Christ et il nous l’a transmise. Elle est notre héritage ; c’est ce que nous possédons présentement. Que nous permettions ou pas à la paix de Christ de nous influencer, cela ne change en rien le fait que nous la possédons déjà. La paix préserve ce que la grâce pourvoit. Elle sécurise ce que la grâce approvisionne ; elle garde ce que la grâce donne. À moins que nous ne marchions dans la paix de Dieu, nous ne pourrons préserver l’effet de l’influence divine de la grâce de Dieu. La grâce est définie comme l’influence divine de l’Évangile dans le cœur de l’Homme et ses effets correspondants dans sa vie. Sans expression, vous ne pouvez pas certifier que vous avez reçu la grâce de Dieu, car la grâce qui est sans expression n’est aucunement la grâce de Dieu. La grâce est le moyen par lequel Dieu opère pour une transformation de vie totale. Quand un homme reçoit la grâce de Dieu, tout le monde le sait ; car les effets de la grâce ne sont pas abstraits. La grâce n’est pas un concept ou une simple doctrine, mais c’est le donneur et le don unis en un seul tout ce que Christ est, et possède, tout ce qu’il a reçu du Père nous est donné sous la forme de la grâce ; c’est pourquoi la grâce a diverses facettes et est multi dimensionnelle. L’on ne peut expérimenter rien de ce qui se trouve dans la grâce sans la paix. C’est pourquoi la bénédiction apostolique est toujours « grâce et paix ». Ce que la grâce pourvoit, la paix le sécurise. Et c’est par la paix de Dieu que vous marcherez dans la plénitude de la bénédiction de l’Évangile que vous avez reçue. La paix que le monde procure est instable, fragile, et temporaire. Elle est basée sur les aspects externes de la vie. Et vous ne devez pas vous focaliser sur de tels aspects. Mais tout au contraire, vivre de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur. La paix de Christ réside en vous. Pendant que vous ne vous concentrez que sur les aspects extérieurs de votre vie, et désirez voir une transformation, au-dedans de vous, se trouve la puissance qui est à l’origine de tous les aspects des bienfaits de votre salut : la paix de Christ. C’est la puissance première en rang qui donne suite au reste. Votre circonstance n’est pas plus puissante que votre attitude. Tout au contraire, votre attitude envers votre circonstance est beaucoup plus puissante que ladite circonstance. Vous avez le droit de déterminer l’attitude par laquelle vous vivrez, sans tenir compte de ce à quoi vous faites face. Confession de foi Jésus Christ est le Prince de paix. Et il m’a donné sa véritable paix, non pas comme le monde donne. Sa paix en moi est la puissance qui est à l’origine de son repos en moi. Je déclare que la grâce de Dieu devient évidente dans ma vie, car je marche dans la paix de Christ. Pensée du jour Tu possèdes en toi la paix du Prince de paix. Day 26 Walk in the Peace of Christ “I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isnt like the peace the world gives. So dont be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 (NLT) That which characterizes the Christ is peace and He has passed unto us His very own peace. It is our inheritance; it is what we presently possess. Whether or not we allow the peace of Christ to influence us, it does not negate the fact that we already posses it. Peace preserves what grace provides. It secures what grace supplies; it keeps what grace gives. Unless we walk in the peace of God, we cannot preserve the effect of the divine influence of the grace of God. Grace is defined as the divine influence of the gospel in the heart of man and its corresponding effects in his life. Without expression, you cannot certify that you have received the grace of God because grace which is without expression is by no means the grace of God. Grace is God’s means of total life transformation. When a man receives the grace of God, everybody else would know it because the effect of grace is not abstract. Grace is not a concept or merely a doctrine but it is the giver and the gift joined together as one. All that Christ is, all that He possesses, all that He has received from the Father is given to us in the form of grace that is why grace is multifaceted and multi dimensional. There is nothing in grace which can be experienced in your life without peace. That is why the apostolic benediction is always “grace and peace.” What grace provides, peaces secures. It is through the peace of God that you will walk in the fullness of the blessing that the gospel has given to us. The peace the world gives is fickle, fragile and temporary. This is peace that is based on the external aspects of life. You are not to focus on the outward, external aspects of your life. You are to live from the inside out. The peace of Christ is within you. While you may be looking at the external aspects of your life and desire to see a transformation, within you is the power which originates all those aspects of the benefit of your salvation: the peace of Christ. It is the power which is first in rank that originates the rest. Your circumstance is not more powerful than you attitude. On the contrary, your attitude towards you circumstance is more powerful than the circumstance itself. You have the right to determine the attitude by which you are going to live, irrespective of the circumstance you face. Confession of Faith Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He has given me His very own peace, not as the world gives. His peace in me is the power that originates the His rest in me. I declare that the grace of God becomes evident in my life because I walk in the peace of Christ. Thought for the Day You possess the peace of the Prince of Peace. In Christ Devotions 27ème jour L’élection qui compte le plus « Car il nous a ordonnés d’avance (destiné, planifié en amour pour nous) pour être adoptés (révélés) comme ses propres fils au travers de Jésus Christ, selon le but de sa volonté [parce qu’il lui a plu selon sa bonne intention] » Éphésiens 1: 5(AMP) Dieu le Père a amoureusement déterminé votre destinée en avance avant la création du monde. Cet acte de Dieu est connu comme étant la doctrine de la prédestination. La destinée glorieuse que Dieu a désignée pour vous est celle selon laquelle vous devez être placé en son fils. Cet emplacement dans la filiation est connu comme adoption. Ce terme dans l’ancien monde oriental diffère bien plus du sens qui lui est attribué dans le contexte occidental moderne. De nos jours et à notre époque, l’adoption signifie placer légalement un enfant qui n’est pas de votre lignée biologique dans votre propre famille. A l’époque de la bible, quand un fils parvenait à maturité, le père de la maisonnée plaçait publiquement et officiellement son fils en position d’être son représentant, c’est –à –dire le désignant ainsi comme l’héritier légitime. Ceci était fait dans une cérémonie organisée au cours de laquelle le fils serait vêtu d’un habit spécial et recevrait ensuite le droit de traiter des affaires à la place du Père. Avant la fondation du monde, Dieu avait choisi de ne pas être Dieu sans l’Homme mais qu’il serait le Dieu qui est en faveur de l’Homme, avec l’Homme comme étant l’Homme. Jésus-Christ, le fils éternel avait été désigné par la déité triurne, Père, Fils et Esprit et que lui en tant que Dieu, est l’électeur. En tant que choisi et nommé pour être toute chose que Dieu désire pour l’humanité serait l’élu. Nos vies sont de manière inextricable liées à la sienne. L’élection n’avait jamais eu pour but de choisir un homme pour lui-même mais pour les autres. C’est pourquoi Dieu en choisissant Adam, ce dernier(Adam) a constitué toute la race humaine mais après sa chute, quand le monde devait parvenir à sa fin, Dieu a choisi Noé et sa famille. Plus tard en voulant bâtir la fondation de l’alliance abrahamique, Dieu a choisi Abraham et la nation d’Israël. Avant la formation des mondes, Dieu a choisi Christ et nous étions inclus dans ce choix. Cette élection a eu lieu avant la fondation du monde. La somme de l’Evangile était qu’à travers Jésus-Christ, par le biais de son incarnation, l’humanité serait incorporée dans la trinité, lequel processus est appelé incarnation. Pensez-y : Dieu vous a amoureusement choisis en vous plaçant comme son fils pour le représenter devant le monde. Il opère actuellement une « cérémonie de filiation spéciale » en cet âge de l’église au cours de laquelle il démontre ouvertement au monde les fils qu’il a choisis et engendrés par sa propre semence. C’est ainsi qu’en tant que fils, il vous a accordé la charge officielle de gérer ses affaires sur terre. Vous êtes son représentant légal et son héritier légitime. Confession de foi Père de grâce, je te remercie de m’avoir choisi comme ton fils avant la fondation du monde et en vertu de ce choix, je suis un élu. Ma vie est de façon inextricable liée à la tienne et le fait que je sois choisi par toi me permettra de te représenter pleinement au monde, au nom de Jésus. Amen. Day 27 Election That Really Counts “For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]” Ephesians 1:5 (AMP) God the Father has lovingly determined your destiny in advance; before the foundation of the world. This act of God is known as the doctrine of predestination. The glorious destiny that God has appointed for you is that you should be placed in His son! This placement into sonship is known as adoption. Adoption in the ancient oriental world is quite different from the modern western concept of the word. In our day and age, adoption means to legally place a child who is of a different biological descent into your own family. In biblical times, when a son would come of age, the father of the household would publicly and officially place his son into the position of being his representative thus designating him as the rightful heir. This was done in an elaborate ceremony where the son would be clothed with a special garment and would from then be given the right to transact business in his father’s stead. Before the foundation of the world, God chose that He will not be God without man but He will be the God who is for man, with man and as man. Jesus Christ the Eternal Son was appointed by the triune Godhead, Father, Son and Spirit and He, being God, is the elector and He being chosen and appointed to be everything that God desires for humanity, is the elected. Jesus Christ chose us and included us into Himself. We who are incorporated into Him are the elect because He is the elected. Our lives are inextricably bound to His. Election was never for an individual to merely be chosen on his own account but to be chosen on behalf of others. That is why when God chose Adam, Adam constituted the whole human race but later when Adam fell, when the world that was, had to be brought to a conclusion, God chose Noah, when He chose Noah, He chose Noah’s family. Later when God wanted to lay the foundation of the Abrahamic covenant, God chose Abraham and when He chose Abraham, He chose the nation of Israel. Before the worlds were formed, God choseChrist and in choosing Christ, He chose us. This was the election that took place before the foundation of the world. The sum of the gospel was that through Jesus Christ, by means of His incarnation, humanity will be incorporated into the trinity,and this is called adoption. Just think of this, God has lovingly chosen you to place you as His son and represent Him to the world. He is currently conducting a special ‘sonship ceremony’ during this Church Age whereby He is openly demonstrating to the world the sons He has chosen and engendered by His own seed. As His son, He has given you official charge over His affairs here on earth. You are His legal representative and rightful heir. Confession of Faith Gracious father, I thank you for choosing me even before the foundation of the world as your son. By virtue of your choosing, I am an elect, my life is inextricably bound with yours and because I am chosen by you, I will fully represent you to the world, in the name of Jesus, AMEN. Thought for the day This election that took place before the foundation of the world was that through Jesus Christ, by means of His incarnation, humanity will be incorporated into the trinity which is called adoption. In Christ Devotions 28ème jour La re-naissance du cosmos en Christ « Jusqu’à la dispensation de la plénitude des temps, afin de résumer toutes choses en Christ, celles dans les cieux et celles sur la terre ; en lui [Je dis,] » Ephésiens 1 :10 (ASV) Jésus-Christ en venant a accompli le temps en lui-même : passé, présent et futur ont été accomplis par Jésus-Christ. Lui Dieu, éternel, en accédant continuellement à l’espace et au temps dans sa chair humaine, accomplit le temps. Christ, à la croix a achevé tout ce qui s’est produit dans le passé, dans le présent et ce qui doit arriver dans le futur tel que défini par Adam. Il l’a accompli en y mettant fin. C’est la raison pour laquelle la parole de Dieu dit que tout est à vous que ce soit passé, présent ou futur. Ce que nous appelons à présent temps et sa mesure, est en réalité une illusion Car Jésus a accompli le temps dans son apparition, sa venue et ce, afin de rassembler toutes choses en Christ. Le mot « choses » dans ce cas ne renvoie pas aux objets inanimés mais tout en les incluant, il renvoie aux « êtres » : personnes, création, cosmos entier, ordre créatif entier, dans les cieux, sur la terre et même en lui. L’expression « afin de rassembler en un » est le terme « récapitulation ». Ce terme signifie renverser et renouveler c’est-à-dire « renverser l’ancien, le rendre obsolète au travers de l’introduction du nouveau ». Christ est donc venu dans l’optique de renverser l’ancien en introduisant le nouveau résumé en lui-même. Il est venu renverser et contre-attaquer la chute d’Adam y compris nos péchés lesquels étaient la conséquence de la désobéissance d’Adam, ceci en y mettant un terme en lui-même avec succès et en résumant de nouveau la création en lui-même. Dieu n’a pas introduit la nouvelle création comme résultat de ce que Christ a potentiellement accompli lors de sa mort et sa résurrection le troisième jour. Il ne s’agit pas de prêcher afin que les gens croient de manière individuelle pour faire d’eux une nouvelle création. Il ne s’agit pas de cela car ceci a eu lieu avant votre croyance, conversion, réponse à Dieu. Dieu était en Christ réconciliant le monde à lui-même, ne leur imputant pas leurs péchés. Autrement dit, en termes d’union conciliante, toute l’humanité bien qu’ayant été réconciliée à Dieu, toute l’humanité n’a pas vu la révélation de l’Evangile, son incorporation en Christ au travers du don de foi du fils de Dieu. L’Eglise représente le fait que l’humanité, réconciliée à Dieu a la responsabilité de pousser les autres à cette réconciliation. Confession de foi Père de mon Seigneur Jésus-Christ, je te remercie de résumer toutes choses en Christ et, ce avant la fondation du monde. Merci de ce que tout le monde, création, cosmos ont été résumés en Christ Jésus. Merci Père car Christ est la fin de l’ancien ordre d’Adam et de sa chute. Pensée du jour L’Eglise symbolise le fait que l’humanité a été réconciliée à Dieu et a de ce fait, la responsabilité de pousser les autres à cette réconciliation. Day 28 The Re-Birth of the Cosmos in Christ “Unto a dispensation of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, [I say,]” Ephesians 1:10 (ASV) Jesus Christ came and fulfilled time itself; the past, present and future was fulfilled by Jesus Christ. He who is God, He who is eternal, upon entering the time-space continuum in human flesh, He fulfils time. Christ, on the cross, completed in the event of the cross everything that happened in the past, in the present and that was to happen in the future as defined by Adam. He fulfilled it and brought it to an end. That is why the Word of God says all things are yours whether they be past, present or future. What we call time today, the measurement of time, is in reality an illusion. Jesus fulfilled time in His appearing, in His coming, that He might gather together in one all things in Christ. The word ‘things’ here is not referring to inanimate objects; it includes that but it refers to ‘beings’: all people, all creation, all of the cosmos, all of the creative order, in heaven, on earth and even in Him. The phrase “He might gather together in one” is the word ‘recapitulation.’ Recapitulation means to reverse and renew. To reverse the old, make it obsolete through the introduction of something that is new. Christ came to reverse the old and introduce the new summed up in Himself. He came to reverse and counteract the fall of Adam and our sins included, which were as a consequence of Adam’s disobedience, and bring them successfully to an end in Himself and sum up creation anew in Himself. God did not introduce the new creation as a result of Christ potentially accomplishing something through His death and resurrection on the third day and now as we preach and people believe individually they are made a new creation. This is not the case, but it was prior to you believing; this is what is known as the scandal of the gospel. The scandal to the gospel is that prior to your belief, prior to your conversion, prior to you responding to God, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their sins against them. This will mean in the sense of reconciliatory union, all humanity has been reconciled to God but not all humanity has seen by the revelation of the gospel their incorporation into Christ through the gift of the faith of the son of God. The Church represents the fact that humanity has been reconciled to God and has as responsibility to cause others to be reconciled to God. Confession of Faith Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for summing up all things in Christ even before the foundation of the world. Thank you because all people, creation, the cosmos has been summed up in Christ Jesus. Thank you father because Christ is the end of the old order of Adam and his fall.
