Latest from Avalon at Mugello:Avalon Biddle races tonight in Italy at Mugello. Qualifying was overnight at the famous Italian circuit. Thanks to Wil Sport Management for the update. 1st Qualifying session Master Cup 600 - Again a full grid of 40 riders saw Avalon post a fast last lap of 2.01.07 for 23rd place. Made even more commendable considering Av missed all of practice yesterday laid up in bed in the Medical Centre with a drip in her arm. She woke with a high fever so we made her rest up. Did the trick as matched her fastest time here at Mugello. Mugello - 2nd Qualifying Master Cup - Avalon will start in 24th position not being able to better her earlier time of 2.01.07. Again a very fast field of riders and only 5 seconds off pole position. The depth of talent here is high. The rider on pole who is having his first season on a 600 after riding a 125 - and is only 16 years old! With both grids having a capacity 40 riders we can expect some fun at the start going in to the first corner. Both grids are extremely fast and competitive with only small margins between them so the next session should be interesting.
