Latest gossip: By Patricia Moraa The hard-working Anita Njeri seems to be in trouble. When she arrived in our neighbourhood, she came with a male companion with whom they started sort of living together. They used to go everywhere together even to church and neighbours say they couldn’t even sleep or wake up without saying their prayers together. After a couple of months however, all were surprised when the man walked away with the only bedding they apparently shared, a slim uncovered mattress. However, recently she acquired both a new bed and mattress and the man started making revisits although he never spent the nights. Of late, Njeri who is childless, has started vomiting and asking for foods that do not have any oil in them. It is speculated that she could have become pregnant and so far, her man hasn’t been seen this weekend there. Has the young man, who reportedly works in the matatu industry dumped her?
