Latest in the Prenda debacle - one of their attorneys has petitioned the court to allow him to withdraw from the case. The petition includes this statement: "...It is impossible for the undersigned to file pleadings on behalf of the Defendant where there is no reasonable basis to conclude that anything that Plaintiff tells counsel is truthful." He also quotes the rules on when attorneys are allowed to withdraw from the case with some *very* telling sentences italicized.
