Latest update: The window of opportunity we have been waiting for has arrived. A break in the weather conditions means that we are confident that the access road is now safe to allow vehicles to make their way down the access road. At 2am buses will leave transporting Mt Hutt College students, followed by guests in private vehicles and then lastly Mt Hutt staff will depart the ski area. Parents of Mt Hutt College students have been contacted by the School with further information. Unfortunately Mt Hutt is closed today as our staff need the day to recover from our overnight stay last night. We plan to get the mountain up and running again on Friday subject to weather conditions.
