Latino Health Forum ~Save the Date! We are pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Latino Health Forum. This years topic theme is: Latino Behavioral Health: Healthy Mind, Healthy Spirit, Healthy Body. The forum continues to be one of the most educational and informative Latino health care events in Northern California and is dedicated to health and service issues confronting the Latino population. It also marks the beginning of the Health Initiative of the Americas 14th Bi-national Health Week. Attendees include social workers, teachers, nurses, physicians, health care providers, promotores, and distinguished members of the Latino community. In addition, we invite high school and college level students to attend to learn about careers in medical/health related fields. Distinguished keynote speakers will discuss critical issues affecting the health of the Latino population. Morning and afternoon workshops will also be offered as well as workshops designed specifically for students. WHEN: Thursday, October 16, 2014 WHERE: Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa in Santa Rosa, Ca COST: $110 ($80 if paid before September 17th) Registration opens in August CEUs for BBS/BRN: $25.00 (no partial credit) Sponsorship Opportunities Available: There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available ranging from $100 to sponsor a student registration, to $500 as a partner, to $1500 as a Senior Partner. A portion of the latter donation levels cover scholarship registration for students and permits community members to attend as well as helps keep registration fees low.
