Lauren & Bill Meyer put on an amazing competition this weekend with the 4th Annual Meyer Fitness Kettlebell Classic. It was honestly one of the best run meets Ive ever attended - flights were on time, plenty of chalk at multiple chalking stations, a nice warm up area away from the platforms, awesome music to keep you hyped up during your sets (Lil Wayne was playing during mine haha), and just an exceptional group of lifters. The Meyer Fitness crew is not only talented, but just some of the nicest people youll ever meet. Everyone always makes me feel like Im right at home and part of the family. Thank you to everyone who listened to me yap on for 3 hours this morning during my workshop - definitely a devoted group of lifters! Also shout out to Veronica Stasik who showed up with 2 dozen doughnuts to fuel the training! Lastly, Im so proud of my friend and student Nancy Cooey for an amazing performance in 2x12kg LC -- 77 reps with an incredible 12 rep sprint in the final minute!
