Among those due to attend are: Brownhills Motorhomes, Future Cleaning, Timico, Future Prospects, Newark and Sherwood District Council, VISPA, Reflect Recruitment, Kybotech, William Saunders, Lincolnshire Co-op, Orbital Recruitment, Nottinghamshire Futures, Citizens’ Advice Bureau, the RAF, the Royal Navy, the Army, Blue Castle, EYS, Lagat, Skills for Employment, City and County Healthcare, Asda, Bakkavor, Nottinghamshire County Council Workforce Development, 24/7 Recruitment, Nottinghamshire County Council Short Breaks, Future Homecare, O2, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, NBV, Serendipitys, Eden Futures, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Newark and Sherwood Volunteer Centre, Future Homecare, EVE Works, Jobcentre Plus, the National IT Centre, Lincoln College, Portland College and West Nottinghamshire College. t will be the seventh jobs fair organised by Newark and Sherwood District Council along with Jobcentre Plus, EVE Works and Nottinghamshire County Council. It aims to help people get into work by introducing them to employers, as well as offering advice on writing CVs, applying for jobs and improving interview skills. The district council’s economic growth officer, Julie Beresford, said a new element of the event would be a presentation by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures about how to use social media for job-hunting. “Many employers are using social media to promote live and planned vacancies so social media is increasingly important when you are looking for a job,” she said. Some employers will be promoting apprenticeship vacancies.
