Laurens Martin-- I think they should be charged with human rights violations, (the council, not the homeless folks) Robert N Smith-- Any town who criminalizes homelessness is violating peoples human rights. Richard Rogers ---What are they going to do arrest them, spend $30,000 plus a year to provide three meals a clean bed some clean clothes, medical and dental as well as a higher education if they wish to pursue such? While incarcerated? What are you in for? i dont have a home.....where does that line start....I wonder do they keep families as a unit? If so, they might have something here........How bad does a resume look with arrested for not having a home in these days and ages? I thought the state has jurisdiction over anything to do with civil rights.
