Law School News: National Law University, Jodhpur Reported by (Parikalp Gupta) Centre of IP studies (CIPS) of National Law University, Jodhpur organized in collaboration with Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur a one-day workshop on “Science, Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights: Envisaging the Interfaces,” on 10th January 2014 at CAZRI auditorium, Jodhpur. Professor K. K. Banerji, Director, CIPS, was the Co-convenor of the workshop. Following Faculty members of CIPS made presentation on the topic: • Professor K. K. Banerji: The Difficult Interface: Relations between Science and Law; • Dr. Manmeeta: Patent information system and IP management; • Ms. Gargi Chakrabarti: Juridical and socio-cultural problems on the definition of a law concerning property, usage and access to genetic resources; • Mr. Ravi Kant Bhardwaj: Agricultural innovation in IP framework with Farmers’ needs-Looking ahead
