Law enforcement needs to start approaching mental illness patients in a different manner. This is disgusting. An elderly person of that age/size is not going to be difficult to control physically, they didnt need to bust her head open by slamming her that hard on the ground simply to remove the knife out of her hand. Its time they receive better training on how to subdue people with mental illness. Ive seen way too many videos like this and worse where someone who is a threat is usually killed or harmed way more than necessary in order to subdue them. There has to be other ways to deal with this!
