Lawrence Dallaglio talking about Billy Vunipola. I think of this - TopicsExpress

Lawrence Dallaglio talking about Billy Vunipola. I think of this young man who was born in Australia to Tongan parents, moving to wales as a boy, then crossing the Severn Bridge with his family and settling down in the West Country. He grows up playing rugby with his mates, makes the England under-18s and under-20s, sees himself as one of them, gets a sports scholarship to the most English of private schools, Harrow, and when he eventually reaches Twickenham for his first Test, theres no one in the ground more English - and no parents more proud. I can relate to this. My dad moved from Italy to build his life I London, my late mothers people came from Ireland and Ive always believed their pride in my wearing the England shirt was all the greater because of where they hailed from. Replace Australia, Tonga, Italy, and Ireland with Bulgaria, Romania, Algeria and any other country of your choice then cross the street and punch anyone from UKIP in the face. That is all.
