Laws Of Nature Cure: 1. Healing is from within. 2. Trace the root cause of the disease. 3. Apply nature cure together with Yogic care. 4. Without inner cleanliness, no cure is possible. 5. Treatment should bring relief and never be painful. 6. Prevention is better than cure. 7. Knowing yourself will make you free from all disease. 8. Our health is our own responsibility. 9. Good habits keep good health. Healing Through Air, Sun and Earth: A. Fresh Air: Pure and fresh air has the power to cure diseases. It is advisable to breath in as fully as possible so that the air gets completely absorbed by the lungs. Take a walk every day in the park for 30 minutes. If the body does not work up a sufficient sweat, then you will know that you have not taken the air properly. B. Sun Bath: Best time for sun bath is between 10-12 noon is summer and between noon and 2 p.m. in winter. During sun bath it is advisable to expose the diseased parts of the body the sun’s rays while the remaining parts are kept in the shade. When the affected area becomes hot for 15-20 minutes in the sun, bring into the shade and follow the below guidelines: 1. If there is rheumatism or gout in that part of the body, that part should be massaged with oil for four or five minutes. 2. If it is skin disease then that area should be massaged with neem oil for four or five minutes. 3. In the case of other diseases the affected area should be massaged with a cool, wet towel that has been wrung out. Once the temperature has returned to normal, it can be once again exposed to the sun’s rays. Repeat 2-3 times. During the last massage all should use a wet towel, except in case of skin disease. A healthy person may take sun bath over whole body. In such case, wipe off the whole body with a wet towel. One should wear a minimum of clothing and expose the back to the sun. If the disease is in the front of the body it can be exposed but remaining parts must be kept covered. C. Use of Earth: Mud Pack: Soil possesses great curative properties. It is especially helpful in case of sores, boils, cuts and scratches, since it draws out the poisonous substances. If the mud pack starts cracking after three hours it should be washed off. Clean the wound with antiseptic, give it a sun-bath and then apply a fresh pack of mud. Persons suffering from skin disease should smear their bodies with yellow soil, do self massage with the mud and then immerse themselves in river or pond. Those suffering from leprosy or other diseases characterized by contaminated sores, should have mud massage followed by a bath every day.
