Lawyer friends, please share your input: Our family rents a plot - TopicsExpress

Lawyer friends, please share your input: Our family rents a plot of river front property from the Bureau of Land Management, and we have two trailers on the lot. We are currently in the middle of a long battled land exchange where the BLM forbids us from making any changes or improvements to the lot. The lot is adjacent to a bridge running across the river, which was recently sold by a farmer to the County of La Paz. Following the sale, the county of La Paz took a tractor and moved our trailer from its spot to the other side of the lot to perform some maintenance on the bridge. The lease agreement with the Bureau of Land Management prevents us from moving any structures on the lot until the land exchange is finished - doing so would jeapordize the lease. The county workers have likely damaged the trailer, parked equipment on our rented land, and are preventing us from enjoyment of the property. Can we collect any damages against the County of La Paz?
