Lay Your Hands on Me Ronald Reagan These guys had neat music. But then again, 80s music was the best. Of course Im biased. I grew up in the era of President Ronald Reagan. My friend Stephen Dare and I actually ran away to meet him but got picked up in Richmond Va cause I basically blurted out to the cops at 3 AM, why yes officer. Were the run aways from Florida that youre asking about. The collapse of the Berlin Wall. The time of the Space Shuttle. Actually got to see one take off at the Cape. I still remember the first moment MTV went on the air. Witnessed the King of Pop moonwalk live on the award show. Thats Michael Jackson for you who live in third world countries. But hang on. At the rate our country is going we might be joining you. LOL. Lived on the ocean in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with the best memories and friends one could ever hope for. Yes, salt and sand are in my blood. And the sound of the waves while surfing with my buddies, well....I can still hear them. The morning smell of coconut, waxing my tri-fin, pin tail, five channel , Water Weapon surf board made by the one and only Bill Hixon. Had a mother who loved me. Enjoyed the days at Fletcher when I wasnt skipping school! Great days. I miss you Florida. But as they say, life goes on. Back to the future? Not gonna happen. Walking into the future? Im doing that daily. Arent we all?
