Layered Rabbit Chili FOR QUART JARS: 3/4 cup dry pinto beans ( rinsed well before hand ) 1 1/3 cup shredded rabbit meat 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes - 2 tablespoons chopped onion 2 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon tomato sauce 3 tsp chili powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 dash of black pepper boiling water Place ingredients in order in quart jar. Fill the jars with the hot water, leave 1 inch headspace Remove air bubbles. Place lid and ring on jar just finger tight Process the jars for 90 minutes at 10 pounds pressure(or at whatever pressure you need for your altitude) Note: this is my twist on bens beans from the canning for all site.
