Laying here alone tonight my thoughts wonder back to you. Of all the things we could have had and what we used to do. Though time has past and weve both moved on ( for me not as much as Id like to say) . Doesnt mean I dont think of and miss you each and everyday. You showed me that I could love again, but then walked out the door. Leaving my heart broken, mentally drained and me crying on the floor. Slowly Ive wiped my tears away, and brought myself back to my feet. Though after you I hardened my heart, but I can smile now cuz again its begun to beat. I was down, I was broken, And lost I am. But God knows my thoughts, my love,my hurts, and I know he has a plan. He holds my hand and I fight sometimes. But Ive gotta learn to go at his pace. Though slow and steady may take awhile but its sure to win the race. For now ill be happy, have some fun and see where this will go. Being patient isnt my thing, but a must to see what Gods plan is for me is and how that it will go. Love and loss and love again though it wasnt mean to be. Its hard to see that there is a calmness to all the raging seas.
