Le Nuvole by Timothy Poulton Mt Taranaki New Zealand After 2 nights in blizzards conditions cooped up in the Pouakai Hut, we finally awoke to clear skies and for the first time in several hard days had the pleasure of Mt Taranakis company. For many, the most symbolic aspect of a mountain is the peak because it is believed that it is closest to heaven and you could literally reach out and touch her. From where we stood enveloped in clouds, it felt like we were on top of the world. Following on from my last post, if I could break this image down into percentages it would go like this: 50% Adventure 49% Photography 1% Photoshop :)
