Leading Texas Tech receiver Jakeem Grant was injured amid a reported off-campus shooting in Lubbock, Texas, on Sunday morning. According to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, more than 20 rounds were fired from multiple guns during an altercation about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Texas Tech officials confirmed to ESPN that Grant was hospitalized after the incident, treated and released. Grant is the Red Raiders top receiver with 50 catches for 629 yards and five touchdowns. He caught six passes in Texas Techs 31-24 win over Kansas on Saturday. The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that no arrests had been made as of Sunday evening. The Red Raiders next play at No. 10 TCU on Saturday.
