Leading people and managing people are not the same thing in business. Leaders will always have a host of voluntary loyal followers, whereas managers typically need laws, rules, titles, and some other authority or another to keep their their followers following them. 1.The leader inspires trust whereas the manager relies on control. 2.The leader innovates whereas the manager administers. 3. The leader asks what and why, whereas the manager asks how and when. Who gets this?
