Leah and I both slept like logs last night! She is still recovering from the surgery and has been napping off and on. She is in good spirits and has smiled some! She had pain meds only once today so far. They started pedialyte through her G-tube and will start the nutrition tomorrow. The nurse came by to do teaching, how to use it, what to do in emergency. ..etc. The nutritionist still has to come by and give me a plan with her feedings and th provider for the feeds has to come by with all the equipment. This will take place tomorrow. I have a feeling it will either be late afternoon before we get to leave or even Friday. We are keeping our fingers crossed for tomorrow! Its been a looooong week! I am overwhelmed by all the food, books, magazines, crossword puzzles, toys, and time everyone has given us. Leah has the best support through her school and her special friend Kara and her family! We also have had so much support from everyone at my work place. They have really shown their love for us and I am so very blessed! I love you all and can never thank you enough!
