Learned something new today... Who has ever heard of Immune-medicated Thrombocytopenia (IMT)? Well, I learned a ton today! A few days ago, I noticed that Snowbie appeared to have bruising like on her skin but looked like blood pooled under her skin... Later that night, her skin broke open on one spot and bled. Today we learned her immune system is literally attacking her blood platelet count and it was near zero today at the vets office. A steroid shot, back home and two more open bloody areas....
