Learning is a VERY steep challenge for Meg. She needs many, many accommodations: minimal noise and distraction; lots of repetition; comfortable environment; an unhurried pace with lots of time to complete each task; breaks between subjects, etc. One of Megs biggest challenges is reading. She is easily visually fatigued. She is also very embarrassed and self-conscious about reading aloud as it takes concentrated effort for breath support (still a lingering effect of the cerebellar mutism/PFS) and she struggles with visual tracking despite reading aids. So Meg and I have devised a cracker jack team of experts to help ease her anxiety and frustration. Reading cannot be done without these invaluable team mates! (And the requisite blankets)
