Learning to Pray I received this message today: Dear Shane, I live in Starkville and just became friends with you last week. I went into the hospital today to have a cataract removed from my left eye. All night last night I could not sleep because I was so afraid. I dont really know how to pray, but right before I went in to the OR, I talked to God as if I were talking to you. I asked him to be with all the surgeons in the hospital and guide their hands. Then I asked him to hold my hand. As soon as they fitted the oxygen into my nostrils, I became so relaxed, and the next thing I knew I was waking up in my room with a patch on my eye. It was all over!! Thank you for giving me the inspiration that Ive been getting from you all week... Me: This sweet lady has learned from your example of writing your prayer requests and praying for others. Praise The Lord...
