Leave No Paws Behind, Inc. BENJI UPDATE! We did not ask for pledges, we did not ask for donations, we simply asked for prayers AND our prayers have been answered! Mark Hohne of East Valley Veterinary Clinic/Mark Hohne DVM, is the most amazing and compassionate man and in my eyes is a true miracle worker. After almost 3 hours of surgery, the tumor has been removed and Benji is now stable and in recovery. The next 24 hours are very critical for Benji due to his age and the stress his body has been under. Doc is remaining very, very optimistically hopeful that Benji will pull through! We are again asking for continued prayers AND now donations to help us continue to help him! I asked Doc for an estimate and he told me the surgery, tests and the critical care hospital stay along with his medications will run between $750.00-$950.00. They are simply amazing and I cannot thank him and the entire staff enough for all they do for the animals! All paws remain raised in prayer for Benjis continued recovery. Next smile we see from Benji will be minus that huge tumor he has had to carry around for so long! tw, LNPB
