Auxiliary verbs 7.modal verbs 8.irregular verbs 9.dynamic verb 10.static verb ---------------------------------------------------------- Auxiliary verb... be”,” have” and “do” are called the auxiliary verbs be......is/am/are......................was/were....been.....being …………..1st form………….2nd form…….3rd ……4th form do......did............done have/has...........had........had auxiliary verbs function as helping verbs as well as they can function as main verbs...they are used to make a tense ,negative or interrogative. they are also called the helping verbs...as they help main verb to show its complete meaning which it cant give alone.they show either action is done in present ,past or future... i am at home ( here am is continuous form of be, as there is no other main verb ,so am itself is producing complete meaning without any main verb) i am running (here am is also functioning as auxiliary verb ,but it has main verb run) i have eaten ( have...is an auxiliary verb here,and eaten is main verb ) i have a car....(have...is an auxiliary verb as well as main verb) (auxiliary verb ,is ,am ,are,was,were,has,have,had,been,being,do,did,done ko kaha jata hai....yeh “main verb” bhe hoty hain or kisi be dosray main verb k sath bhe atay hain action show karnay k liyay auxiliary verb main verb ki madad karty hain ta k woh zamana show kar sakay present ,past ya future ka i have run...(ab agar is jumlay say have ka helping verb nekal dyaya jayay to yeh nai present perfect tense ko show nai kar sakta) i am running (am, ko nekal dyaya jo yeh continuous ka jumla nai rahay ga) --------------------------- Modal Verbs.... Modal verbs are also the auxiliary verbs ,they are the helping verb as well as main verb, can could should would will shall has to,have to, had to ,will have to , is to ,are am to, was to , were to ought to... may might must the only difference between a modal verbs and an auxiliary verb is that ... auxiliray verb kisi bhe jumlay main , main verb k begair be apna matlab day sakta hai...jab k modal verb akela aisa nai kar sakta k kisi jumlay main begiar main verb k ya begair auxiliray verb k matlab day sakay i can run ....can...modal verb ko yahan har hal main ,main verb run chaheyay woh run k begair matlab nai day sakta... i am at home...at auxiliary yahan kisi be main verb k begair be apna matlab day raha hai... i can be at home...(yahan modal verb can kisi be main verb k behair to apna matab day raha hai lakin woh akela aisa nai kar raha balkay us k sath be auxiliary verb hai...woh be ko as helping verb use kar raha hai... so, auxiliary verb be modal verbs he hain bus woh akalay be main verb ka kam kar sakty hain jab k modal verb ko matlab dainay k liyay ya to koi main verb chaheyay ya koi auxiliray verb chaheyay.... above given modal verbs are used to show order,request ,suggestion, appeal ,ability and possibility.
