Leeds Police - Garforth, Kippax, Swillington & Methley NPT There were 58 crimes reported over the last 24 hrs in North East Leeds .6 of them were in our area which are as follows- 1 x Attemp burglary on Townend ,Garforth 1 x Burglary on Park Lane ,Allerton Bywater where one male was arrested 1 x Burglary other(shed)on Goodycross Lane,Swillington 1 x Burglary other(shed)on Victoria Street,Allerton Bywater 1 x Theft of phone from a club in Kippax 1 x Theft from shop in Garforth. May I take this opportunity to say that the Police will be at the Garforth Gala on Sunday 30/6/13 along side Aire Valley Homes and will be able to mark up peoples property .The Property marking is a new scheme called Immobilise where the Police scan items onto a online data base called Immoblise.All you need to bring with is a mobile phone and we will take the IMEI number from the phone and set you up an account.Once your account is set up then you can go to the Immobilise site and add all you own electrical items by putting on the serial numbers from your TV, computers etc.The scheme is total FREE. Once you are set up and all your items are online then if any item you have put on the system is lost or stolen and the Police recover it we will be able to make sure it goes back to the correct person.We will be marking property in the Aire Valley Homes exhibition van.Remember GET IT LOGGED , GET IT BACK.
