Leeds: Robin Hood. 1961. The East and West Yorkshire Junction Railway opened a branch in 1891connecting the GN at Lofthouse with the MR at Stourton. The system also comprised of a network of Colliery links around Robin Hood and Rothwell. The line closed in 1966, this train is returning a rake of coal empties back to Lofthouse Colliery and is about to pass under the A61 Wakefield - Leeds road between Ouzelwell Green and Robin Hood on a southbound trip.
