(Left or right?) Confusion is nothing more than the mind solving a new challenge. When we know not which way to turn – it is commonly because we are in uncharted territory. We are out of our comfort zone. We should take each such experience as an opportunity for growth, our chance to determine the next best step to take, and then take it! In my experience, these steps rarely take me back into my comfort zone, rather, they widen and deepen it. Confusion, to me, is a gift! Confusion entices me to think outside the box. Today I realize, only outside the box, will I discover anything new. Today I know I cannot, and need not take on anyone else’s doubts, misunderstanding, or the outcome of their choices. I am ill equipped to do so. Today I will let go of all the drama and crisis outside of me, and embrace the chaos between my ears. In doing so I realize, I may not solve the world’s problems, but I will have a greater understanding and acceptance of my own. Through this understand – I am better prepared to help others. lb
