Legal tip of the day: If you are out on bond then you have to - TopicsExpress

Legal tip of the day: If you are out on bond then you have to (must) abide by certain conditions, the easiest of which to remember is to not commit any new crimes. This means that, while you are out on bond, every minute of every day in every place that you are located you must be law-abiding. If you fail to do this then your bond is properly revoked and you can expect to remain in jail until your case(s) is (are) resolved. So, if you are out on bond, think before you act, or dont bellyache when you are eating aged bologna sandwiches on stale bread with bruised miniature apples for dessert (which, incidentally, may just prove to be the best part of your incarcerative experience). That said... Memo to Danny Ray Smith: You were out on bond for your 2012 charges of murder, manslaughter, vehicular homicide, assault and leaving the scene of an accident wherein you are alleged to have killed a 12 year old girl due to your having been DUI at the time and what do you do? You go and get yourself arrested, today, for another DUI (lets not fail to mention that you had a prior DUI in 1981 so this is your third). Guess what Danny? Admittedly knowing nothing about your cases, if Im a betting man then I go with three being a charm... for the good folks of Northport, Alabama (who most likely wont have to worry about you being on the roads until somewhere around 2035). Douche. Be smart{er than Danny Ray Smith}: Dont drink and drive, but, if you do, just say NO{thing}, dont blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 1-888-SHARK-8-1, 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220, **ARRESTED, **INJAIL, **HABERLAW, **MIAMILAW or **MIAMIDUI.
