Legendary actor and film legend Al Pacino of Scarface fame turns 74 today. An only child raised by a single mother in South Bronx, New York Pacino overcame that and dire poverty to become one of the top ten greatest actors in all of American cinema. I heard interviews where actors Jamie Foxx, Chris Tucker, Denzel Washington, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey said on record that Pacino is their all-time favorite actor. Unlike many actors and artists Pacino had that unique ability to cross racial, ethnic, and cultural lines and appeal to the masses. Way to go, much love and respect.
