Legendary footballer Mani Shah has been admitted to Norvic Hospital due to infection at his leg. According to Shah´s wife Navina, the former national team midfielder was hospitalized on Monday. Shah has been diagnosed with cellulitis, infection behind the upper layer of skin, at his right leg. "The doctors suggested keeping him in the hospital to prevent it from spreading and his is recovering well," Navina told, "He will be discharged after 2/3 days." Shah is regarded as the all time best footballer of Nepal. He was a key member of the national squad that achieved the greatest success in Nepali football, football gold medal in 1993 South Asian of Games, Dhaka. Shah had netted an equalizer against India through freekick in the last moment of the match to salvage a 2-2 draw in the regulation time. Later, Nepal won the final 4-3 in tiebreaker.
