Legislation to increase the #historictaxcredits in disaster areas for recovery has been referred to the Senate Finance Committee. Senators Schumer, Landrieu, Menendez, Booker, Bennet, Udall, and Rockefeller introduced the National Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2014, which would increase tax credits from 10% to 13% for non-historic buildings and increase the HTC from 20% to 26% for historic buildings in a federally declared disaster zone.
