Leighton Fc 1-1 Salvador Tom edge Perfect conditions for football this morning, Salvador started with a make shift team due to injuries, holidays and suspensions. The first half was scrappy, both team creating half decent changes but nothing clear cut. 0-0 at half time. Second half Leighton came out a lot faster and were on top for the first 15 minutes. But it was Salvador on the counter attack who drew the first blood, Kierons banks who played in centre midfield beat his man and a revers pass found Tom edge who cooly slotted home from the edge of the box. After that Salvador were playing some good stuff. If Tom edge could stay onside we may have scored another. Leighton pushed on In the last 15 minutes and a corner punched away was drilled back into the mixer, bounced around a few times before falling to a Leighton player who slotted in the corner. Overall a fair result and a good point away from home.
