Leisurely Saturday lunch at Bolaven, Mt Edens newest cafe. Serving a combination of traditional Laos dishes with a dash of European we stayed in Laos and enjoyed food cooked by Mrs Mounlath, the mother of cafe owner Sip. Aunty sys mok salmon, dill, enoki mushrooms & sticky rice; Mortar & pestle pak salad; Fried eggs, sticky rice, soy & jeow mak len and finished with lime and coconut brioche pudding. All delicious and great to see a local cafe offering more interesting fare than eggs benedict! 597 Mt Eden Road, Auckland.
