Lemayian Ole Kereto our true son is leading a campaign to have the Maasai Culture Declared a National Heritage in Kenya and Tanzania. He has been mobilizing youths and the community at large to unite. Many companies around the world are using our brand(Pictures, Culture and Name) to market their products without our permission. This is disrespect and not acceptable. Lemayian will be discussing this issue at Nosim 90.5 FM Kenya at 8pm. Lets us all listen and engage as we seek that which is rightfully hours. he was recently at BBC Africa. The aim is to create a representative body on behalf all the Maa people(Samburu, Ilchamus, Maasais,...) to get royalties from companies using the Maa in business. We want the Maasai trademarked.
