Why do I begin todays reading with this declaration? Well, my dreams last night had a distinct WARRIOR vibe, and its small wonder: Everyone seems to be fighting the good fight more than ever these days. Maisy (the feline hostess of todays reading) is the ultimate Warrior. The tiniest of my rescue posse, she was (miraculously) discovered - very tiny and very much alone - at the bottom of a trash dumpster on Bleecker Street, amidst the crazy hustle and bustle of Greenwich Village, NYC. A huntress of dynamic ability, when I say that Maisy can pull a bird from the sky, I aint lying. (Altho it wont happen if IM around.) Shell smack down any (often much larger) cat in the vicinity without batting an eye and you can sense how other animals regard and respect her. She knows how to TAKE CARE OF HERSELF. But Maisy can also turn it around and be the sweetest darling imaginable. Ask any of my houseguests and theyll confirm that its indeed Maisy who is always the one who will sit on your lap, purring and nuzzling, demanding acknowledgment and affection. Shes been my companion going on 10 years now, and I know she appreciates everything in her life: Maisy remembers the difficult times. So, that being said of our beautiful hostess, lets begin: Page of Swords: CUT THE BULLSHIT, ALREADY. And if that sounds insensitive, its meant to. Direct jump message: Dont even THINK of acting unethically in order to get what you want. It will mess your reputation up in the long run. WOW. Well, I wonder - in light of Sylvia Brownes passing yesterday - is this possibly a message from Lady Browne herself? Because she did kinda lose it at the end there, with some off-target and even unethical shinanigans. And I LOVE that woman, because she did pave the way in a lot of respects for Spiritual Seekers. But now I really cant help but think that this card has something to do with telling us all to KEEP IT REAL. Also, since (Page) is a youthful energy card, Im gonna go ahead and take the above as Advice for the FUTURE GENERATION of Spiritual Advisors. Why the hell not. Oh, and one more message here: STOP GOSSIPING, ITS just plain BAD MOJO. Ten of Wands: A sense of really feeling over-burdened. FERKLEMPT. A little foggy, a little - lazy? Despondent? A change of attitude will do wonders here and what will bring that is putting some more balance into your life. Heres what you do: Make a list of your top 3 TRULY IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES TODAY. Then take care of those, ONE AT A TIME. After youre done, treat yourself to something nice. Anything. But make it reeeeal niiiiiiiiiiice. Three of Pentacles: I did the work, now SHOW ME THE MONEY! Message: Collect whats owed you, and from now on its money up front. You have to think enough of yourself to set these terms for whatever service(s) you are providing. Work out payment plans with clients if need be. THERE HAS TO BE AN ENERGY EXCHANGE or THE UNIVERSE SUFFERS, not just you. Church of the Goddess is featured. Five of Pentacles: Emphasis is on requesting some type of outside help, financial assistance, etc. This is a great time to apply for grants. Have someone help you if you dont know how to. (ITS OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP, and see if theres something you can do for that person in exchange, too.) Id like to also suggest exploring new MANIFESTATION TECHNIQUES. Go ahead, GOOGLE it on YOUTUBE. There are a whole bunch out there, so try a few and settle on a technique that rings your bells and stick with it for a few days. You might just be surprised! This is also a signifier that its a time of Adaptation: If youre finding yourself struggling a little more lately: You NEED this time of struggle. Its working for you, even if it doesnt seem like it right now. You may be feeling a LACK OF SUPPORT from your fellow human, or even from the Universe. Dont sweat it. Its just another cycle and if you SEEK alternative options to get a leg up on things, itll happen for ya, and youll be so glad you did it on your own. So were all Warriors.
