For several months rumours have been popping up that the likes of PSG or Chelsea could make a massive move to try to sign Messi, however those rumours can now be consigned to the trash, according to the Spanish press. “Leo Messi has a total commitment to the club”, screams MD, who then go on to reveal how PSG and Chelsea had been working on secret plans to sign Messi. MD said that president of Paris Saint Germain, Nassir Al-Khelaifi, was clear: PSG must be in pole position to sign Messi if the option became available. Moreover, it’s said that last season PSG made a serious attempt to sign Messi, which was turned down by the player and his representatives. MD also note that Chelsea are also lurking, although they know the star is committed to Barcelona 100%. The Blues are said to have consulted not only with Cesc Fabregas, but also Cesc’s partner Daniella Semaan, about the likelihood Messi and partner Antonella Roccuzzo could be lured to London.
