Leroy It was many years ago that the news media announced this monumental technological advancement of the parachute for small planes. When I first saw it the cost was $50,000.00 today it’s running from $3,000.00 to $30,000.00. I wonder why this isn’t a standard process in small engine planes as a last resort of engine failure and other safety issues like high winds ripping off wings etc. when I was on working on Langley Air Force Base and meeting numerous F-15 pilots, who were adamant about flying in a small planes those like the Cessna. I would hate to convey what some AF Pilots said about small planes.
