Leslie L. Patton Sr. Leslie L. Patton, Sr., 89, of Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and formerly of Susquehanna Twp., went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 5, 2013, on his birthday. He was a retired steelworker for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., Steelton, with 42 years of service, a US Army veteran of WWII, a purple heart recipient and served in Japan guarding areas after the Hiroshima bombing. He was preceded in death by a grandson, John Ofak and was the widower of Ruth W. Brown Patton. Les is survived by one son, Leslie L. Patton, Jr., and his wife, Julie, one daughter, Sherry Ofak, 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 12:00 Noon in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd & Derry Streets, Harrisburg, with Leslie L. Patton, Jr., his son, officiating. Burial will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon in the funeral home.
