Less than 4 hours before team Walky Talkies steps off on its half-marathon dry walk this morning at the Perth Fair Ground. I am so fortunate to have these friends on my team. My dearest friend Linda drove down from Coldwater just to walk this distance with me. My friend Larry will be arriving from Kingston to do the same and then there is Patti, Colleen, Krista, Manuela and the woman who get to whip me into shape, April. Our amazing support team comes in the form of the very lovely and divine Miss Em..... If you privileged to have friends who drop everything to walk such a distance with you just to encourage a friend and support him, then I assure you that can not help but feel the love. We are of course sorry Cathy wont be joining us today, but we know she making each round with us. Not only are they undertaking this walk today, butt on 21 September they will do it all again and with equally great enthusiasm in the Canada Army Run in Ottawa. We would welcome any contributions you could make to our effort and we will of course be asking each of you to make pledges in the coming months. Once again I thank each and everyone of them for humbling me as they do. Wishing you all a happy Sunday.
