Less than one per cent of Earths fresh water is to be found in rivers and lakes. Most water is saltwater and is found in the oceans. About 80 per cent of earths fresh water is frozen. It makes up the polar ice caps, and forms glaciers. The ice in glaciers and at the poles could melt and sea level would rise. This would flood low-lying areas, such as Bangladesh, and coastal areas. The rising global temperature may creat devastative crisis into the earth after some few centuries. Not only that, Our Himalayan already started to melt. And, temperature upheaval directly hampers millions of nepali peasant and their crops where they are totally depended on the monsoon base agriculture.
