Lessons of the day: 1. If you miss a call from your doctor’s office, be sure to return it---Don’t wait until you are on your way across town to verify your appointment/return the call. 2. Check to make sure you have your phone before you leave every store---Don’t wait until you are heading to your final destination. 3. Not everyone is “countrified” and knows how to start and control burn piles---Trees can quickly catch fire. 4. When attempting to put out a tree on fire, it may not be a smart idea to stand on the top of your Hummer, and spray a fire hydrant above you head. 5. My son is just like his father and learns how to do things quickly---very quickly. 6. A four year old boy that just learned how to swim is an exciting thing to see---however, it will quickly suck the energy right out of you, and scare the poop out of you as well! ***And this was a normal day...and I wonder why I am always tired...lol
