Let The Buyer Beware. That may seem like an odd thing to say, but nowadays its true and Glen and I have seen a lot of misleading items and information out there. Its especially upsetting to be at one of the shows and see wholesalers misleading their buyers with false information. This is totally natural.....That can no longer be collected, and is quite rare. In our shop, most of what you see is beautiful, unique and natural but, at the same time, we do have some of the Laboratory Grown and/or plated items. Along with our natural Quartz Crystals, we also have clusters of enhanced Green Quartz, from China. Of course the color is not natural. They have been plated with Chromium. We also sell Aqua Aura and Titanium Quartz Crystals and just good old Lab Grown Quartz Clusters. We stock these items because theyre beautiful and its fascinating to see how inventive man can be. I know, some of you may not like hearing that, but when you realize that the Russian Gentleman who grew the Lab Grown Quartz that we bought, had to develop a hydrothermal growth process consisting of alkaline aqueous solutions and high pressure exceeding 10,000 psi, its pretty impressive. (All of that in his garage!!!) It takes him months to years to grow these crystals. I find these clusters to be a great addition to anyones collection, as long as they are sold and labeled as Synthetic, Lab Grown, Plated or whatever else was done to make them look the way they do.
